Warhammer Mod on Total War

Warhammmer Online has been hitting new levels and have become really popular among MMORPG gamers. At the same time, we have Warhammer Fantasy coming up with Battle March, the expansion to the original Mark of Chaos.

Both are good games but unfortunately, i am not too sure about taking both. With regards to Warhammer Online, the reason why i wont buy it cos im not too sure if my laptop can handle it, furthermore, i dun want to get too addicted to it, even though i have 3 mths of holidays, getting into the game will take my life away.

As for Mark of Chaos and Battle March, they are relatively good game, not the best but good, but it still cost money, therefore it willl be awhile before i get that game.

This is where i stumbled upon something nice when i was browsing youtube.

A Warhammer Fantasy Mod for Medieval Total War 2(A game i have) which looks cool.

Take a look at the awesome modification of Medieval Total War 2. The Warhammer Mod looks great including the actual Warhammer map. After seeing the Lord of the Rings Mod that looks really good and the gameplay was pretty dynamic plus it still retained the primary pull factor of Medieval Total War 2.

Check it out PPL!! WOOHOO.. Oh and there is Bretonnian in it.. or so it seems from the pictures.

Back with More Again

Hi again, and its finally time to continue the photo catalogue. I am back and now ready to continue posting more awesome stuff of warhammer, starting with Josh's imperial men.

But before i continue i must say it is great to be back and there are many more figures to be taken of and shown soon.

But witht he big economic crisis and the high cost of Warhammer, it has kind of dampen my mood to play warhammer as i am required to buy new army rule books and revamp my army in accordance to the rule. It is almost becoming very tiring, strenous and costly to keep buying new books and learnnig new rules. And guess what? Games Workshop is releasing new armies and everytime it does, the army is more overpowering than the previous armybook release.

Many of the armies of recent release have become so UBER powerful that other armies have been deemed redundant. It may be a good marketing drive to ask people to buy more, but it is definitely affecting the balance of the gameplay which will ultimately make people like me not want to play anymore. Regardless, I will still collect the figures.

As for now, im gonna keep a tight budget expenditure for Warhammer as money is very thin for myself personally.. so yeap.. BLEH

So here is the picture of the week.

Determined Imperial Men
The Men of the Empire.

I must say this is a very good shot of an Imperial Cannon Crew looking to the Warfront and Beyond.

The focus is on him while his fellow Imperial Comrades are arming their crossbow to prepare the defense.

The whole ambience of the photograph is dynamic and that is what captures me personally.

Great Figs from Josh too.

The Shadowy Swordmaster

This is one of my favourite pic that complements both painting and phototaking skills. The drybrushing and layering of the swordmaster of hoeth gives a very ghostly aura to it. The Dark and Bright sky gives a sense of dread to the individual.

With great contrast betweent he background and the Swordmaster.. it is an excellent piece of art that makes the Swordmaster look like a ghost in the Night.

On another note, i shall be taking a breather on posting for about a week or more for this specific blog. After that, there shall be a new set of photoes from the last photoshoot. it includes many new figures u have not seen before.. So keep visiting. :D
